Whisky Live Shanghai 2011 - The Luxury Edition

On the 2nd & 3rd September, Whisky Live will once again return to the vibrant city of Shanghai in a new deluxe setting. Following hot on the heels of the world's largest whisky festival in Taipei, the developing market of Mainland China will be welcoming the third edition of the festival. Strategically relocated to the Five Star Intercontinental Hotel, the 2011 Whisky Live & Fine Spirits experience will continue to focus on consumer/ trade education along with providing a business development platform for brands looking to enter the China market.

The 2011 offering will be welcoming back the Education Zone, the Art of Blending, VIP Lounge, our highly educational show guide and educational Master Classes. With the announcement of the 2011 Whisky Live Shanghai Icons of whisky supplemented by live entertainment, this year's festival will continue to provide a fun, festive and educational experience for all those who attend.

威士忌时尚生活将于9月2日及3日在活力四射的上海再次华丽登陆。正迅速发展的中国内陆市场将紧接着在台北举行的全球最大威士忌盛会成为全球第三站。 将在五星级洲际酒店举行的2011 威士忌与蒸馏酒时尚生活，届时会为广大消费者以及经销商提供一个休闲放松的学习气氛， 同时也会给各大威士忌品牌提供一个开拓中国市场的商贸发展平台。

The Whisky Experiences are the education and entertainment zones, providing extra sensory experiences. With a dram always on hand the Whisky Experiences seek to educate and entertain those that want to learn a little more about the diversity of Scotland's greatest export.

MASTERCLASSES

These tutored tastings provide a unique insight into the world of whisky and your chance to ask all those hidden questions. Held in private, accommodating up to 75 people classroom style, you have up to an hour of intense time learning more about your favourites whiskies. Many of the Masterclasses are dedicated to one brand or expression, however increasingly you may experience whisky and food, international flavour comparisons or eye-opening introductions to a range of great whiskies. Hosted by brand ambassadors, master distillers, leading experts or Whisky Magazine writers, the Whisky Live Masterclasses always guarantee a memorable experience.

TASTINGS

Taste and discover great whiskies from a selection of 100's if not 1000's at every Whisky Live show around the world. From the classic ranges you may have sampled before to rare and exculsive bottlings. Exhibitors are always on hand to talk (and drink) you through their range whiskies providing invaluable knowledge and experience. New to whisky or a seasoned expert, there is something new for everyone to try at Whisky Live.

ENTERTAINMENT

Whisky Live is all about having fun and enjoying yourself, to this end all Whisky Live shows host a range of entertainment from bands and musicians to games and live demostrations. Stay at one of the recommended hotels used by Whisky Live staff and exhibitors and you are guaranteed the entertainment and fun will continue late in to the night.

FOOD

Not only will you find some great food stalls and areas at Whisky Live but your will also discover the magic of matching whiskies with food. Look out for food stalls and Masterclasses at shows near you.
